MW Wheels SA (Pty) Ltd, a division of the Italian based CLN Group, is based in Port Elizabeth and currently supplies six of the seven Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s).

Our plant is unique to the CLN group in that we have both Automotive (MA) and Wheels (MW) operations conducted on one site. The MA portion of the business concerns engineering, stamping, roll-forming and assembly of structural parts, components and sub-assemblies in steel for General Motors SA (GMSA), Mercedes Benz South Africa (MBSA) and Volkswagen SA (VWSA). The MW portion of the business concerns the manufacturing of steel wheels for GMSA, VWSA, Toyota SA, Ford and Nissan – being the sole steel wheels’ manufacturer in South Africa.


Tools and devices for the sheet metal processing industry, body components and systems, assemblies.


  • The key job outputs of the function include, but are not limited to:
  • Work under and in close interaction with a senior mechanical engineer
  • Assist with professional report writing and keeping of minutes/notes of meetings
  • Interact internally with fellow team members
  • Inspection to ensure quality of work and resolve technical problems


Essential competencies (knowledge/skill) required to perform output

  • Minimum requirement BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Highly motivated and self-driven candidates
  • Driving license or access to motor vehicle transport
