We’re preferably seeking BSC Computer Science candidates who are passionate about programming. Programming Language: C# or Java. We’re looking for people with areas of experience in desktop application development, databases, web application development, mobile development, micro-controllers, image processing, etc.

Web development experience with technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript would be helpful.

The projects you’d be working on:

The development and support of software related to managing, processing and analysing data generated from drone surveys. For example, processing and analysing optical/thermal images of solar panels or wind turbines. The successful candidate would also be heavily involved in the development of software that would enable the manual processing of this data with the hope of automating as much as possible as more software infrastructure gets built.

The overall aim will be to use machine learning in the processing and analysing of the data which would happen after some of the more critical software infrastructure is in place. We’re looking to develop smart solutions for our customers in order to enable them to manage their businesses better using technology and automation. The successful candidate may be needed to support the development some of the embedded systems we have developed so far, such as the camera triggering system based on location. An interest in developing mobile applications is beneficial, as ultimately we’d be looking to develop mobile applications for on-site data collection, inspections and maintenance of solar panels.
